Google: Not Tolerate Text Link Ads

Google had informed that Google will not tolerate the strategy of buying Text Link Ads (TLA) from higher page rank websites to get better Google PageRank. Since the first time TLA being announced, Text Link Advertising has becoming a much more popular method for sites to earn that extra bit of cash. In particular, TLA has constructing the best form of advertising for blogs. One of the consequent of doing this is you will lose the ability to pass Google PageRank. Of course, its will harm your ranking. Matt Cutts, Google-employed blogger, have said about how to report paid links. The report is using by Google to improve their algorithmic detection of paid links.

There are certainly paid links that affect search result quality, and Google has every right to deal with those. But to say that human-reviewed, relevant paid links will be punished is another situation entirely. That makes it look like Google is flexing its muscles as the dominant search engine to take out competitors of its own text ad program.

According to the Google,
“Google and most other search engines use links to determine reputation. A site's ranking in Google search results is partly based on analysis of those sites that link to it. Link-based analysis is an extremely useful way of measuring a site's value, and has greatly improved the quality of web search. Both the quantity and, more importantly, the quality of links count towards this rating….

Buying links in order to improve a site’s ranking is in violation of Google's webmaster guidelines and can negatively impact a site's ranking in search results.”

I’m just curious that how Google will determine which links are paid and which one are not? What could it be if Google becoming a judge, jury, and executioner, that deciding a link is paid without make sure it, and strike forward to punish that site? I hope that Google will clarify this movement.

This was just a rumor, but if Google finds your link near a "Sponsored" or something similar word, then it classifies that as a paid link.

I also have heard such tricky trick. But, I think Google will implement more complex algorithm to deal with this trick.

A link is just a link whether it's paid for a not. How is Google going to know that a certain link is paid for if you don't say it clearly on your site?

[Marguerite Jasmin] Its a Google's secret, you should ask it to Google's engineer. How do I know Google's implement what kind of algorithm? This is Google's policies. But one think that I know for sure, Google will know it, if somebody have report the site to Google. You can check out at the link that I have provided (how to report paid links).
