Finally, Sony decides to announce its new four digital Blu-ray disc recorder with HDDs on SONY Dealer Convention 2007, Sept. 12, 2007. The line-up includes the BD-X90, BDZ-T70, BDZ-T50 and BDZ-L70.
Those new Sony Blu-ray disc recorder are capable to record high definition movie quality on Blu-ray disc, 24p true cinema, high-speed Hi-vision dubbing and AVCHD support. However, the top of the line is the Sony BDZ-X90 is featuring a 500GB hard-drive, the model brings 2x digital and 2x analog tuners, gold-plated HDMI 1080p capable of 60fps or 24fps output in DeepColor, and a DLNA-based "Sony Room Link" server function for streaming your media around the house.
The other is Sony BDZ-T50 has a 250GB hard-drive and one digital Hi-Vision tuner. The BDZ-T70 has a larger 320GB hard-drive and offers two digital tuners for parallel recording. Another is Sony BDZ-L70, which is optimized for AVCHD video camera offering one-touch dubbing. The BDZ-L70 has a 320GB hard-drive.
All new Sony Blu-ray recorder devices will be launching on Nov. 8, 2007. The BDZ-X90 sells for 200,000 Yen (~$1,755), the BDZ-L70 has a price of 180,000 Yen (~$1,580), the BDZ-T70 sells for 160,000 Yen (~$1,400) and the BDZ-T50 has a price tag of 140,000 Yen (~$1,230).
