Sony VAIO UX490 Premium Micro PC


Sony has just launched its new portable PC, which is the VAIO VGN-UX490 Premium Micro PC (VAIO UX490). With this stuff, you can easily connect yourself to the world without hanging on your heavy laptop. However, you should not underestimate its power. You even cannot imagine how powerful this stuff is. Sony has provided its users with new remarkably PC on their pocket.

Sony VAIO UX490 is using micro-board with the Mobile Intel 945GMS Express chipset, which is means that the system is using onboard graphic card to handle its graphical processing (available up to 251MB shared from main memory). Inside of it, the Intel Core 2 Solo U2200 processor is taking the control of computation. The Front Side Bus of the system is running on the speed of 533MHz. 1 GB memory of PC2-3200 (DDR2) is installed on this PC. However, you cannot expect more memory to be installed on this stuff, it because the 1 GB is the maximum limit of Sony VAIO UX490’s memory capacity.

Although the development in the storage capacity has increased these recent years, it seemed that Sony did not follow up this achievement. Sony only included 48GB hard-drive to fulfill the need of storage. However, you will notice that Sony will not make you disappoint just because of it. Sony VAIO UX490 uses touch-screen technology as its input and output device. Yeah, a Wide SVGA LCD touch-screen will accompany you to connect to the world without bored.
