Most of us think that GPS navigators is relatively utilitarian devices, which is help people to find the way when they are willing to know for directions that they need. In Asia, GPS devices seem to be on the way to becoming much more.
Provia A1, a new GPS navigator from Korea’s HTMS. South Korea has been proving its technology for the last of two decades. HTMS do really know how to make a GPS navigator system look awesome. Provia A1 is fully supporting high quality 3D maps, the maps is detailed in impressively.
Provia A1, a seven-inch 800 x 480 resolution touch-screen, powered by Intel PXA270 processor (520 MHz), onboard 128 MB SDRAM, 128 MB for program storage (able to be updated up to 2GB through SD card), stereo speakers, USB 2.0 connectivity, AV inputs, audio in/out.
Provia A1 has a built-in media player that support video playback in many formats, such as DivX, XviD, H.264, WMA, WMV, OGG, MPEG3/4, etc. The interesting feature of this gadget is the ability of supporting handwriting recognition and receiving over-the-air digital television broadcasts through DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcast) receiver as a TV tuner for extra entertainment.
I have not known any information about the price of this gadget. Unfortunately, we will probably never see the availability of this gadget outside of South Korea.
