Huo Liang, a Chinese athlete, has the lead in the men's 10-meter diving semifinals, putting his country six dives away from sweeping the eight Olympic diving gold medals.
Huo had 549.95 points, receiving four perfect 10s during Saturday morning's semifinals. Meanwhile, Matthew Mitcham of Australia was second with 532.20 and Huo's teammate, Zhou Luxin, was third with 526.20. Moreover, Gleb Galperin of Russia was fourth.
Unfortunately, American teenager David Boudia qualified fifth and his teammate Thomas Finchum was seventh. Thomas Daley, a 14-year-old Brit, advanced in eighth. The top 12 divers made the evening final.
