Toshiba has just unveiled its latest product, the Satellite E105, a newly designed 14.1-inch notebook. The offered model, the E105-S1402, is based on the Intel Centrino 2 processor technology and comes with the Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU at 2.26GHz, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive, and DVD burner. The screen-display has a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels.
There are also fingerprint reader and built-in web camera, a backlit keyboard, 802.11 a/g/n wireless, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, an HDMI output, two USB ports (one shared with eSATA), and a 5-in-1 media card reader. Officially, according to Toshiba's press release, the Satellite E105 offers up to 5.5 hours of battery life. The 5-pound notebook has a finish with copper tones and is 1.2-inch thin.
The Toshiba Satellite E105-S1402, which is powered with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit operating system, will cost $1,199.99 with an extended 2-year manufacturer warranty.
